Gel Melt is a gellified corrosion-inhibited magnesium chloride ice melter that is designed to be applied before or at the time of a buildup of ice and snow on the roof, eaves or gutters of the home. Gel Melt is designed to be a long-lasting resilient tube of gellified ice melt that can, over time, carve a channel into ice and snow which will allow the buildup of water to flow down the carved channel and into the gutter, thereby alleviating the pooling of water on the roof and circumventing the major cause of leaks into the home. Gel Melt is designed so that it can also be placed into the gutters around the home if ice buildup occurs. Gel Melt has been carefully thickened from a liquid into a sturdy and resilient gel and extruded into clear flexible plastic tubing from which the gel can be removed and placed on the areas requiring treatment.
